About My Yoga Programs
Welcome, dear friends! I'm Liz Robinson, an experienced yoga instructor with over 1,000 hours of comprehensive training in yoga, meditation, and mindfulness practices. For more than two decades, I have cultivated a dedicated sitting meditation practice, and since 2016, I have immersed myself in the transformative world of physical asana practice.
My yoga programs are designed to offer a holistic experience that nourishes the body, mind, and spirit. Each class is a harmonious blend of asana (physical postures), meditation, pranayama (breathwork), and yoga nidra (yogic sleep). Through these ancient practices, we explore the profound connections between our physical beings and our inner selves. One of the unique aspects of my teaching is the emphasis on working with the bandhas (energetic locks) and chakras (energy centers). By developing awareness and control over these subtle energies, we can unlock deeper levels of vitality, balance, and overall well-being.Whether you're a seasoned practitioner or new to yoga, my classes provide a nurturing and inclusive environment where you can deepen your practice, find stillness amidst the chaos of daily life, and cultivate self-awareness and compassion. When I'm not on the mat, I reside in the vibrant city of Portland, Oregon, with my husband and our four children. Our household also includes a loyal German Shepherd companion and a lively flock of chickens, adding a touch of nature's harmony to our urban oasis.
